StableStack supports USD transactions through SWIFT across a defined set of countries and territories. This page shows the countries currently supported for SWIFT transaction origination and destination.

Coverage Status

Important: A country marked Clear indicates StableStack corridor availability. It does not mean that a transaction, person, business, bank, or beneficiary is exempt from sanctions screening or other compliance controls.
All transactions remain subject to StableStack’s applicable KYC/KYB, AML, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, fraud controls, and banking-partner requirements. OFAC sanctions are not determined by a simple country-level list. OFAC administers multiple sanctions programs that may apply broadly to jurisdictions or selectively to particular individuals, entities, sectors, or activities.

Supported SWIFT Countries

Prohibited SWIFT Countries

The following countries are currently outside StableStack’s SWIFT corridor coverage: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Croatia, Cuba, Côte d’Ivoire, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Guam, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Kosovo, Laos, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Monaco, Montenegro, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Nicaragua, North Korea, North Macedonia, Russia, Serbia, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.

Origination and Destination

SWIFT coverage applies to transactions where the relevant country is supported as an origination or destination country. A successful transaction is still dependent on:
  • The originating and beneficiary banks
  • Intermediary-bank availability
  • Currency and payment instructions
  • Transaction-level sanctions screening
  • AML and transaction-monitoring controls
  • StableStack and banking-partner risk policies
StableStack may decline or restrict a transaction even when both countries appear as Clear in this coverage table. Swift provides transaction-screening services that can screen payment messages against public sanctions lists, reinforcing why country coverage should not be treated as a substitute for transaction-level screening.

Coverage Updates

StableStack may update country coverage as banking-partner requirements, regulatory requirements, sanctions programs, risk assessments, and corridor availability change. For production use, customers should rely on the current StableStack documentation and API availability rather than treating this list as permanent.
